2

WOW amazing underwater photography and what a great pool :) . In which part of the world it is located ?

3

Pretty Impressive.

4

Amazing! lol

5

I took the time to look it up and it appears this pool is located in Brussels, Belgium. It’s pretty amazing.

6

Posters don’t give locations or descriptions because they are clueless. They have no consideration at all.

7

its situated near of sussex london.

8

yo, big brains!

try googling “deepest pool”…

9

These pics are great! Is this for Astronaut training? Scuba classes? What exactly is the purpose of this pool?

I wanna go swimming.

10

So, ahmet, is Brussels a neighborhood in Sussex? All that European geography is so confusing!

11

It’s in England, they use it to train escape procedures from submarines.

12

Very impressive. but I’d hate to be the poolboy. imagine cleaning that sucker! chlorinate the hell out of that thing.

13

“So, ahmet, is Brussels a neighborhood in Sussex?”
No, Brussels is the capital of Belgium and Sussex is a county in England.

14

Photoshopped.

15

Is this what constitutes a blog these days? Scrappin someone else’s pictures with no additional content? Just link to the site you’re stealing from and say, hey this is cool.

http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/

Who knows if that’s even the original site, but notice where the pictures are cropped on this blog.

Ridiculous.

16

Brussels is in Belgium. Sussex is in England.

17

It’s in my backyard, someone bring some burgers over and we’ll have a picnic.

18

Seriously. Sites like this ruin the internet. I say, add more porn.

19

To the poster: Information? Links? Any kind of reference at all? Come on, raise your game! Spend an extra few minutes on your posts and get above this mediocre blogging.

To quote wikipedia:

“Nemo 33 is a recreational scuba diving center in Uccle, Belgium near Brussels that is home to the world’s deepest swimming pool. The pool itself consists of a submerged structure with flat platforms at various depth levels. The pool has two large flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5 m (16 ft) and 10 m (32 ft), and a large circular pit descending to a depth of 33 m (108 ft). It is filled with 2,500,000 liters of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10 m depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.”

* Ferment: 2 pools, 3 pits (5, 10 and 33m)
* Decoration: Caves at -10m, possibility of fixing of new decorations.
* Never seen before: Three permanent bells of air under pressure (-9m, -7m, air renewed permanently), they avoid ceaseless return tickets bottom-surface of the student and his instructor.
* Technic: 250 anchoring points distributed in the tank to:
o changer the aspect of the swimming pool (for the amateurs)
o adapt it to the need for a film making
o to adapt it to the need for the scientists and technicians
* Changing rooms : Heated, separated man-woman, showers separated, toilets separated.
* Lightning : Natural & artificial

22

ahmet is a liar i hate when people talk out of their @$$ for no f*&king reason

23

So, its a converted missile silo?

24

Boring.

25

Does the whole credit thing really matter when its photos like these?
Surely the point should be to spread the word. If the original photos were ones that were worth thousands then maybe, but for gods sake grow up. Do you even look at the name? All i do is look at the photos, say oh thats cool, and move on. They are not works of art, they are just informative and interesting so chill the fuck out ben.

26

It’s a grain silo in the winter months. It works out great except for that the rats that use it for a vacation beach home.

27

They don’t say where because they don’t know

People find stuff on google image search and are like I MUST REPORT THIS TO THE WORLD IT IS MY DUTY AS A BLOGGER. Ps blogs suck

28

dude! harsh! it’s an awesome pool, and you fuckin’ know you thought so too, and all he gets in his comments is “you’re inconsiderate”, “blogs suck” (even though I’m clearly reading one), “Seriously. Sites like this ruin the internet.”. Shut the fuck up! All of you! It’s an awesome pool! Period! If you want journalism that cites every fuckin source and lists geocoded coordinates, buy a fucking time magazine and stay the fuck off the internet.

29

HAHA

You can take only a few items of your own dive kit (computer, mask, pool fins) but no BCD, fins that require booties, regulators(unless they have an integrated air linked to your computer – but no DIN fittings at all). torches, etc… You are not allowed to practice any skills unless you have an instructor in your group.

36

hey awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

37

What surprises me is no one has pointed out the rack on that chick in the first picture. BEWBS.

38

i think maybe mojo was being sarcastic . possibly.

that pool is awesome.

39

Listen, children. This is mediocre blogging bordering on plagiarism. It’s yet another shitty blog titled “Deepest pool in the world” with no research or information, and it’s got an even lamer title “the last date you take your cheating girlfriend on”.

Look, simpletons. A blog is supposed to be INFORMATIVE. Some of us really aren’t impressed with these photos, and would like to know more than just see eye candy. Maybe you mouth breathers like pictures more than words, which explains your affinity for Denny’s and the Waffle House menus.

But no matter what your argument or bitch, a blog is worthless if it’s just stolen pictures with no reference. THere needs to be some level of respect, legal or not.

And from someone who makes a living on both photography and graphic design, I challenge Charlie to take his allowance and give it away if anything less than a few thousand mean nothing to you. Of course we’ll have to wait until you move out from home and pay rent and bills on your own.

SO seriously blogger… get off your lazy ass and write a better more informative blog.

40

@Jasmine

why does everyone ALWAYS assume that everything awesome in the world is PHOTOSHOPPED? next you’re gonna say the moon is photoshopped…

41

http://www.nemo33.com/

42

you fucking moron Q

43

@Natovr

So your saying it’s not?

44

I’d take my girlfriend there anytime.. even if she wasn’t cheating.. i didn’t get that joke.. if it was one… but i’m sure both of us would have a great time lol

45

Brussels, Belgium

46

I say its about time to go to brussells and check it out first hand and see how it is then

47

cool, would like to see some sharks in their

48

This is why blogs suck.

The poster gets the photos from somewhere else and gives no credit or explanation.

Someone berates them for it.

Someone berates the berator.

Someone gives the location.

Someone else gives another bogus location.

Someone finally comes up with a link to the original.

Someone replicates the link to the original (several times).

Someone says it’s photoshopped.

Add a pinch of appalling spelling and grammar, a good childish argument and a rare post that actually makes sense and there you have the average blog. This one fills the criteria perfectly.

49

Creepiest fucking swimming pool in the world.

50

I’d like to poop in that pool. They’d have to shock that big mother and drain it

51

blogs are a newspaper in an old folks home

@lolz
where is the old folks home you’re talking about, you can’t just say old folks home, obviously.

@obviously
obviously is soo old folks home

@lolz
blogs are obviously sooo 2006, get with the times and start producing more adobe swirls, butterflies, grunge and composite dots with a confusing wordpress layout

@ obviously
lolz, adobe swirls are soo 2007

52

This was easy to find the link to the main web page

http://www.nemo33.com

The link to the orginal pics

53

all you had to do was type in the deepest swimming pool in the world in google and it tells you. Only take a sec to do

http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/

54

Obviously, its a converted Belgian-British evil missile silo
built by the space aliens for Dick Cheney, but later sold to Tom Cruise as a gift for Angelina Jolie!

55

This pool is located in Darby, Minnesota near the local Y. They use it for training for the “bends.” Since there is spring water in it, sometimes it is used for bait fishing by the fishermen of Darby.

“Surely the point should be to spread the word.”

Surely such a point would better be achieved by doing more than just putting up a bunch of pictures with no context, no information, and NO WORDS! What words are we spreading?!

*Various “just google it” comments*

Listen, if I have to google something that someone put on StumbleUpon, then they failed, and whoever Stumbled it should have Stumbled the ORIGINAL article that has all the context and info in it. Not this worthless tripe.

Guy 1: “Hey, look at this, cool huh?”

Guy 2: “yeah, wow, that is cool, where’d you get it? What is it? What is it’s significance?”

Guy 1: “Pff, what do I look like, an friggin encyclopedia? go find it for yourself again after I have clearly done so once, and could easily just give you a link or a nudge in the right direction, but I’m too lazy to do that.”

To anyone who replies “just google it”, here’s a thought, why didn’t the asshat who posted this think to do JUST THAT and save us all the damn trouble. If he/she can put the image up they can surely link back to the original article.

Shit man….

worthless.

58

can you have sex down there? I mean I know it’s physically possible but do they allow it? ;)

59

http://braingoodbye.com/category/informative – the blog explains itself.

WOW amazing underwater photography and what a great pool . In which part of the world it is located ? (this is where!)

England
fareham
my house
my bathroom
my sink

but seriusly, i’ve seen it before. non chlorinated and is used for filming stuff. IT IS NOT PHOTOSHOPPED!

64

“fucktards… i am from belgium and currently live here in brussels. Nemo33, as its formally called, is nnot even IN brussels, its NEAR brussels. and the place is frickin sweet. though not accessible by anyone under 12. good thing im 15″

Nice try. I am really from Belgium and that’s the pool in my back yard. And if you did really live here I certainly wouldn’t let -you- swim in it. I use it to test out my submarines.

65

i live a stones throw away from the centre ahmet was on about in sussex, well hampshire to be precise and its this place

http://www.digigreen.net/forums/photo-trip-reports/4659-submarine-training-escape-tank-gosport-uk.html

no it is not the one above but it is still pretty deep

66

DUDE THATS EFFIN AWESOME HOLY SHAT LOL!!w!

68

Hey guys, stop making such a freakin’ fuss about it, it’s not in Sussex , England. It’s in Ukkel, about a 15 minute drive from the heart of Brussel (without traffic ifcourse) The Pool is used to train as newbie divers as well as professionals, it’s a very common testing area to get more stars on your certificate. If you have the chance to visit it sometimes you should definetly do it, even if you’re not a certified diver! You’ll get a crash course on diving and you’ll be alowed to go as deep as 10 meter, so you can visit the underwater cave and the first pressurised airbubble, it’s great fun!

69

This page is hilarious! That’s what I like about teh internets!

70

Well, deducing from the the comments, Belgians are all story toppers.

71

People post stuff without details because they have just stolen it from some other site without effort or research and they simply want to get hits on their page. Like this one.

72

I love the way people always cry out “LOL PHOTOSHOPPED LOLOLOL!!!!1″ when things clearly are not and they’ve been provided with ample opportunity to see for themselves.

73

Cocky wawa! Imba zimba kalimba dimba! George W. Bush big idiot.

74

It is in Brussels

75

Look at that. Its beautiful!
Thanks for your post. Its very nice :)

76

hey photoshopped http://www.nemo33.com/
I believe “badly at that” was your comment in reference to thinking it was “photoshopped” hope you feel better now.

77

Everybody is so stupid. This pool is outside of New York and it is used to test submarine evac. It was built in 2002.

78

The moon IS ’shopped’

79

That reminds me of Mario 64!

80

thank you ass holes and ‘mouth breathers’ for making this blog so fun to read. and i like that term, CHARLIE AND SIKENRONG SUCK. fuck all of you mouth breathers!

81

i think these pics are damn cool. that is what the internet is about, finding things you would otherwise never get to see or know existed. discovering new things. educational and fun

82

That’s sooo cool……..and scarry at the same time! Atleast for somebody with limited swimming abilities. I would check it out, but only under supervision hahaha!

83

Free time is a hell of a thing.

84

this isn’t half bad.

85

so fake.

86

i find it funny that everyone cries about the big bad person that posted the pics and didnt sy where it was. the first hit on google using the title of this post shows you everything you need to know. stop being lazy

87

You guys are all so stupid. It’s obviously an automated toilet for whales, so stop posting links to the Nemo33 site. It’s apparently obvious that Nemo33 is a hoax.

88

This looks like the pools in the early Tomb Raider games (2)

89

i would be worried of getting lost in those passages and running out of air. haha

90

this thing is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!†

91

oh my god have a joint all of you angry peoplee that shit is cool!!!! no matter what….

92

Is in Russia, Old Nuclear power plant, No need for electric lights or extended membership. Sending wife there for holiday.

93

94

There’s no picture on the Internet which is not photoshopped.
There’s no picture at all which is not photoshopped.

100

I pissed and shit in this pool once

101

Can’t we all just…get along?

102

I could care less about the picture since I neither swim or scuba but I wanted to say that I love to read the comment ne: blog sections for all that Jimbob said so perfect near the endish of this comment list. here I’ll copy it…

“This is why blogs suck.

You could care less? Really? I couldn’t care less.

104

how deep is the pool?

105

yea, comment 105, and definatly photoshopped

106

The pool is cool.

The link (in comment 15) gives the details.

107

Your Moms Photo Shoped!
Burn!

108

Seriously we need more info on this pic. How deep is it? Where is it at? Is it just used to train divers? Give up the info.

109

:’)
Oh, dear.
It entertains me just how offended people can get over a BLOG.
We’re losing sight of the big picture.
It is a blog.
It is some pictures and text on a screen.
Calm down, move on.

110

That pool looks cool. Does everyone wear scuba gear?

111

Truly terrifying!

Spoken from a non-swimmer.

112

The author of this site is nothing but a common asshat. Just still and post the photos like they are yours. No reciprocal links, just take it right? Screw the owner.

I hope your computer electrocutes you.

And to the idiot who posted “Photoshopped” I hope your holding hands with the author of this plagiarized site when the electricity flows.

113

OMG the size of that pool! that would suk if some1 couldnt swim and was forced to learn in THAT THING

114

I swear I’ve dreamed of this pool hundreds of times in my lifetime. Its always someplace new, but nonetheless, its always a very very very deep public swiming pool.

115

this pool is located in Brussels, Belgium. There is more infomations at this website http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/

116

It’s amazing. Thanks to the commentators who posted more links.

117

“Free time is a hell of a thing.”
You said that right, tpm.

118

This is NOT the deepest pool.

Chile has a pool 115 feet deep. http://www.sanalfonso.cl/

119

this is in Brussels, Belgium. it is in a diving center for all those of you who’ve asked.

120

why are we giving this site hits? it’s totally fucked.

121

This is absolutely amazing. NASA ? I would hate to be the lifeguard there !

122

This is SO old.
I saw pictures of this pool in a diving magazine 2/3 years ago.

123

Photoshopped.

I saw this pool on another site last week anyways…

124

That is amazing. I wanna swim in that pool. I can go scuba diving and not worry about sharks.

125

LMFAO! You cunts are taking a blog way too seriously. Fighting over a useless page on the internet, Mike? No, really, I hope your computer electrocutes you too, cockwad. As a matter of fact I hope all of you choke.
ryan: Why did I give this site a hit? Because I Stumbled here, you dumb twat.
Seriously, who the fuck checks for copyrights and proof of ownership? Overrated bullshit. “Intellectual” property my ass. I took a look at the pictures and went “uh yeah okay cool,” because I knew the real gold of this page would be all the stupid fucking comments you wastes of life would leave.
Nuclear holocaust can’t come soon enough for you useless pieces of shit. Die.

126

Lmfao. My comment’s going to get deleted because it’s “awaiting moderation.”
God forbid your youth sees what the real world is like.
Anyhow, I recommend most of you get rid of your computers. It’s painfully apparent that it’s detrimental to our collective intelligence.

127

BOOBIES!!!

128

the indoor dive hole I use just outside Paris is 5 and 15 meters deep. From 15 to 12 meters is a window looking ouot on a basketball court; Don’t know who whatches whom the most

129

130

Wow!
Brilliant blog, love it!

Two questions, though.

One, where is this pool located?
And two, what’s this thing called “google” I see everyone talking about in the comments?

131

you’re all a bunch of morons and Geneius..google is a search engine you twat!

132

138

This is cool except I don’t know where it is or how deep it is. How about some real cool info with your real cool pictures.

141

Did someone drop a Baby Ruth bar in the pool?

142

Brussels Belgium…. full stop…next question please people

143

i love Stumbling on sites/blogs like these, not for the actually material (though the world’s deepest pool is quite interesting) but just for the comments people leave. i mean there must be at least 10 comments asking the same questions (’where is it?’, ‘how deep is it?’) and at least 20 people quoting from wikipedia or this http://www.anvari.org website. bit disappointed theres not more people crying ‘photoshoped!’ though, i thought there were more annoying twats out there on the Internet

144

Surfin’s fun Ya all, those “Here is the proof links” are to sites known to yank your identity and machine IDs and MAC addresses. Hackers luv stupid blog droppins Nom Nom fresh meat..

145

follydude:

yo, big brains!

try googling “deepest pool”…

I would be willing to bet that this site comes up pretty near the top of that search, which leads me nowhere. And everyone on here that says posters should tell you where these things are – you’re absolutely right!

146

Nema33 is located in Brussels, Belgium. I live in Brussels and I’ve been there a couple times, it’s totally awesome. You can’t really see it on the pictures but at ~20m they have little “caves” where you can go and breathe normally.

147

truly a unique place, perfect for scuba training. Should set it up for a treasure hunt … awesome lock in place

148

Say Hello to the Human fish tank

149

http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/

just for the people that where wondering it is called nemo 33

Regards,
adam

150

Do you people know anything about Photoshop!? This is far from being shopped. Its real. Also, Its in freakin’ Belgium. Look it up for once.

Asshats.

151

Wow, that’s nice, the cleavage in the first pic, very nice indeed…oh and the pool’s not bad either

152

Awesome Pool..

153

lol Anyone who has tried diving in Belgium will know about this pool, but you are right. A little info goes a long way.

154

Looks like a Quake level. :)

155

Wow! Amazing. I need one of these.

156

All your pools are belong to Belgium.

157

cool cool wish i was there man wish i was there

158

THIS GIVES ME ANXIETY! Thats an insane pool!

159

Wow. Everything they say about retarded comment sections is true. I have never read anything like this before, and I am just as stunned as I was when I found out that there really are people named Jim Bob. Both situations are comical, sad, and shocking.

160

Love the pics, love the comments. Now that we got the who, what, when, where and why out of the way, can we tackle the “cheating girlfriend” remark.

I don’t get that either.

161

#157: I can’t say why that’s so damn funny, but it is!

162

I think after the first ten comments, everyone else has just been copying and pasting what the others said O.o

I enjoyed these photos, even if some were plagarised.

163

Not being a good swimmer myself, this totally freaks me out and fascinates me!

ha. the comments on this page way overwhelm the actual original post by a mile in their cool factor. i hardly ever look at the page I stumble on ever, i always scroll down to the comments first.

who gives if the pics are shopped, or copied, or where the pool is? all I know is that it’s empty and I’d like to go jump in it right now, cuz all the pools i know of are full of peeps.

165

HEY STUPID it was stolen and a picture or two was added.. Its in Brussels. http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/ . I cant fucking stand people like you bitching about something and refusing to find out for yourself. Fucking inform yourself, cus no one is gonna be able to help someone like you out.

166

why are you people being so curious?just watch the pictures and be informed that there is such a pool in the world or just fckin relax or i dunno comment about the quality of the pic.
i dnt think any of you are thinking of visiting there..just asking to bother..boooooooooo

167

Beautiful pictures, but very misogynistic intro!

168

Cool swimming pool.

169

My buttmonkey swims in that pool on every other weekend. He always comes back with a nasty rash. So does Cheney and his buttmonkey. Sooooooooooo where is this tub????????? Nice mamalaries!!!!!

173

It’s really cool… I wish i can swim there, someday….emmhhhhh

174

More than where is it – how deep is it?

175

So how deep is it? Why doesn’t it say it somewhere?

176

So how deep is it? It looks like a video game level.

177

You people have no lives, seriously.

178

This is in Brussels (Belgium, the country next to France ;) ). It’s called Nemo 33. The coolest thing is that it’s also a restaurant. So there are a few glass walls and you can have a nice Thai dinner when you see people diving.

It’s used for lab experiments, diving initiations, etc

179

Why “the last date you take your cheating girlfriend on”?

180

The depth of commenters’ stupidity far exceeds that of the pool.

181

It is in Brussles, called Nemo33 (depth of 33 mtrs)

182

Just Google “The Deepest Swimming Pool In The World” for location…duh

183

It’s all photoshopped.

184

this is my first time blogging… I’m disappointed the pool looks fun though

185

Very deep.

186

OH NO! earthquake everyone out, too late the water is gone and the ppl to have dissapeard with it!!! OH NO!

188

Because killing women is funny.

189

poor children in ethiopia are dying of dehydration and water poisoning and we make a fatass pool of natural spring water? lol thats pretty funny.

190

how much pee did you say that holded LOL

191

THE INTERTRON IS SERIOUS BUSINESS

192

I’ve seen other such things around the U.S. They are old missile silos that have been imploded or bought from the government after being decommissioned.

193

here you go ya’ll, this tells all about it :)

http://www.anvari.org/cols/Deepest_Pool_in_the_World/

194

It’s in Belgium.

195

This is AWESOME!! I would love to take a swim in this pool!

196

Wow, where is this place? And do you have to bring your own scuba gear?

197

HOW FUCKING DEEP IS IT!!!!

198

To all the boring people saying this is fake or ’shopped, try googling “deepest pool.” If you want to criticize, try backing it up.

Wow, What if One did not know how to swim??? How deep is that pool and what is the temp?? Is there a combination or is it a solution?? There must be someone who knows the answer to this one!!!

202

Just looking at this makes me feel like I am going to have a panic attack. So, so deep!

207

Nice one for the post, and the following comments that actually said something about the pool. I’d never seen it before and now I’m off to do some winter diving in Brussels come end of September. Might even sent you some pics of the dives.

Peace and Hope

Who are the blog police? I see none. A blog can be what ever it wants, you can choose not to read it. You want rules for how you should write a blog then move to China, I am sure they will accommodate you. The only thing I don’t like about this page are the bashing, nonconstructive comments like yours. In fact the general negative attitude I find on most comments through out the web remind me of people driving in heavy traffic cutting each other off and giving each other the finger. We do this because the other people in the cars don’t seem like people to us. Now on the internet we see these pseudo names and not real people and feel we can say anything hurtful and mean because there are no consequences. Why propagate this bad mojo, it is tiring. Do something that inspires positive things once in a while.

211

There IS a huge swimming pool in Sussex. They’re just getting confused.

212

SO!

213

wow that looks pretty cool. i think i would be a little scared to go in there though.

214

I stumpled upon this page and enjoyed the pictures of the pool looking like a Lara Croft level.
But the fun really started when I read the comments.
Especially the one by Jimbob, expressing perfectly what I was thinking, and I quote:
“This is why blogs suck.

This one fills the criteria perfectly.”

Made my evening!

215

Although I don’t think blogs suck. I think they’re great.
It should be “This is why blogs are great: these caricatural comments are hilarious”

216

Jesus christ, that’s a DEEP pool! But why is the location nowhere on the page? I want to go there.

217

Aahah…yes it is in Brussels unfortunately…i wish it was here in London…!

218

The Moon is Photo shopped, I can tell by the Pixels

219

Have you ever heard of “Google”…

220

hehe :)

221

yes, it’s not

222

Just got back from Nemo33 dive. Great, but after diving for about 45 minutes you feel like you’re in a warm bath.

And it is chlorinated, ugh. Prefer salt in my eyes than chemicals.

Peace and Hope

How photoshoped is it now?

231

Hey,does anyone know how deep the pool is?! lol

232

is there gold down there

233

I don’t care if it’s real or not, it scares the shit out of me. I have nightmares about stuff like this. pretty interesting though.

234

yeah, totally.

the only person in the world who has enough time to photshop that many pictures to look that realistic is you, douchebag.
just because something is cool doesn’t mean it’s photoshopped.

235

Oh! clueless, inconsiderate posters eh? How about you just being a lazy fuck….Go and look up the facts yourself instead of sitting on your arse complaining …!!!

236

Isn’t it just for dive training anyway? not recreational

237

A giraffe could so swim deeper than that…

238

eh the pool in my backyard is way deeper

239

ahhaa

240

I think this is wonderful–such a great place to learn how to scuba dive with people around. Where is it?

241

Some descriptions would have been cool indeed.
However, I like the pictures.

Maybe someone is willing to do some research and writing an article about it.

I would really like to take a scuba class there.

Thanks anyway!

242

Thanks. Inspire the positive and thank goodness we don’t have “blog police”. We can all move on if it doesn’t interest us. I like interesting photos AND informative, thoughtful blogs. There is happily room for both.

243

From WikiPedia:

Nemo 33 is a recreational diving center in Brussels, Belgium that is home to
the world’s deepest swimming pool. The pool itself consists of a submerged
structure with flat platforms at various depth levels. The pool has two large
flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5m (16 ft) and 10m (32 ft), and a large
circular pit descending to a depth of 33m (108 ft). It is filled with
2,500,000 litres of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained
at 30°C (86°F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10m depth level. There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths. The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.

247

Nice pool, must be crazy to dive there

248

wow that looks cool. i think i would be a little scared to go in there though.
